Established in 2010, LAB has become more than a store; it’s a lifestyle.
LAB has 2 meanings; The Leungs, Ambrose and Boniface, and Laboratory. When the two come together, LAB becomes a place for the Leung brothers to bring their bright ideas into the real world.
The Leung brothers love music, film, photography and design. They believe that riches are not the way to a better life - only having a better lifestyle can help you. Everyone has the right to stand up and choose their own lifestyle. The Leungs travel the world to find products that will suit you – and you can simply walk into their store!
The store is located in Kowloon Bay, where the Leungs were born and grew up. Now, Kowloon Bay is growing up too; the old industrial area is rapidly being replaced by a bright new commercial district. Big malls; the usual franchises; faceless chain stores; As much as things change, they somehow stay the same. The Leungs love Kowloon as much as you do, so they have seized their chance and set up shop, hoping to bring something interesting to the new landscape.
In the store, most of the items are made by independent brands and artists. Many of the pieces are handmade;
often the only one in the world.
